Finance Projects Consultant

Setting up financial processes, stepping in as accountant/finance controller for our clients, implementation of ERP systems, accounting process optimalisation and other financial projects are part of our BPS (Business Process Solutions) project stream.

What you’ll do at the beginning?

• Collaborate and work on finance projects – whether it’s implementation of a new financial system, backfill of client’s accountant, controller or operational coordination in finance area.
• Learn from more experienced colleagues, absorb information and broaden your horizons.
• Diversify your experience and develop managerial and project management skills.
• Collaborate with foreign Deloitte offices and specialists in other disciplines, such as tax, technology, law, audit, or industry-specific consultants.

How will your career evolve?

• You will be part of Deloitte project team or in charge of respective finance projects (depending on the volume of the project).
• After gaining some experience, in 1- 2 years you can decide which direction you want to go in your career. Whether it’s chief accountant and CFO’s skills, project management skills or focus on technology – everything is possible.
• If you find out that you are a technology fan that´s great! You’ll have the opportunity to be leading the projects of implementation of financial systems.
• The experience and confidence you gain on the job will allow you to take on more responsibility.
• You will have a responsibility to develop your team members through mentoring and coaching.
• If you want, we will also involve you in Business Development, where you will support supervisors/managers with creating offers and presenting them to clients.

How do we imagine you?

• You are a graduate of university (preferably in the field of economics) OR graduate of business academy with 1+ years of working experience in finance, accounting, controlling or audit department.
• You have at least basic accounting, controlling or audit experience – either from work experience, a part-time job.
• You speak fluent English and have a good command of Czech (min. B2 level).
• You thrive in faced – paced environment and enjoy working project work.
• You are communicative and not afraid to deal with clients.
• You have a team spirit and want to learn.
